I'm not into tanning, so I don't plan on using this and will find it a new home.

ACT Advanced Care Mouthwash in Clean Mint

 

I am currently using another sample of this same ACT mouthwash that I received from Pinch Me, but once that is done I will start using this.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in 875 Gladiolus

 

I received this same lipstick from a Target box that I posted about here so I will be giving this one away.

Aussie Mega Hairspray

 

I am not a hairspray type of a girl, but when I do decide to use one, I guess I will have this to try.

Schick Hydro Silk Disposable Razor

 

I have mentioned on this blog a few times that I prefer creams over razors to remove hair, but when I do get razors in the mail, I do use them to review which is what I plan to do with this one.

Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant and $1 off coupon

 

This is a nice travel size to keep in handbags for days that one forgets to put deodorant on before running out of the house.

 

Nivea Extended Moisture Body Lotion

 

I think I have received a few samples of this product, so I will just keep holding onto them for later use.

I am using a more affordable option to whiten my teeth, but this would be good to use before a special event.

Julep Maven Spring 2015 Welcome Box

I got an email from Swagbucks a few days ago about an offer from Julep Maven. Here are the products I got!



Everything came in a cute little box that kept the products from breaking. The box is a little too bulky for what is inside plus the box was full of crinkled papers which can be a hassle to clean up. These are just minor issues though.

I like these colors in the reverse order shown in the picture above. So the purple is my first favorite, then pink, and finally the blue.

The colors in my Spring 2015 Welcome box (from left to right) are Shelly, Vicki, and Flora.

Here are some swatches of the colors on a clear nail wheel. All of these are just 1 coat! These colors are opaque on the first application, but I almost always do at least 2 coats on my nails. I actually don't have these exact colors which I was happy about.

 

I think this is a cute idea that Julep already had a way to add the colors to the top of each polish. This way, if they are standing on a rack or in a case, the colors can be easily seen without taking the polishes out.

 

Just to compare the amount, these Julep polishes have .27 oz. or 8mL of product while a Maybelline Color Show polish has .23 oz. or 7 mL. This isn't a problem for me since it does take me a long time to completely finish a bottle of polish.  

 

A nude/pink lip gloss in Graceful was also included in my box. It is nice, but this color won't do anything for my lips :(

 

Final Thoughts

Overall, I think this box was a nice addition to my collection. I honestly don't plan to keep the subscription since I have way too MANY nail polishes, but I did want to try something from the Julep brand after seeing it EVERYWHERE and couldn't turn down the offer. If you are into (mostly) nail products and don't mind spending around $24.99 per month, then Julep might be for you.

Again, the Walmart box came wrapped in plastic so the box wasn't dirty and can be reused!

You will know what season's box you received because it will say it on the included card inside.

 

I received 2 samples with coupons included. I have thought about buying the Maybelline powder, so I can try that now.

Can't have enough face wipes in my opinion. I wonder if this 10 pack of Olay fresh effects makeup removal wet cloths is full size?! 

These are generous sample sizes of Loreal Oleo Therapy shampoo and conditioner. They smell good and since I have been into sulfate free hair products, these are perfect. Can't wait to try them!

 

This Jergens BB Body skin cream smells nice and is a good sample size to carry in bags. It does have a slight tint, but even on my medium/ brown skin tone, it is not a problem.

I wish the Maybelline lipstick in Maple Kiss came wrapped. The color is nice though and I have bought some to try in the past with no success. Now I have my own to play with!

 

Final thoughts

Overall, I am enjoying my Walmart boxes. I love the amount of products I received in both, the variety, and the price is good too. I plan to keep my subscription to this beauty box and can't wait for my next ones!
